Unified glare rating is a quantitative index used to evaluate the uncomfortable glare of indoor lighting. It measures the psychological amount of the subjective reaction of discomfort caused by the light emitted by the lighting device in the visual environment to the human eye.

What about the general color rendering index
The color rendering of the light source refers to the degree to which the light source presents the natural primary color of the object.
The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) defines the color rendering index of sunlight as 100 and specifies 15 test colors, with R1-R15 representing the display index of these 15 colors respectively. When comparing a light source with a specified reference light source, an index value of 100 is the best.
Among them, R9 is an indicator for evaluating the quality of red reproduction, and the values of the three types of light sources vary greatly. Since the display index of the LED light source is very low or even negative, the meat and the plate look dim.
CCT
CCT is smaller than 3300K that suitable for guest rooms, bedrooms, inpatient wards, and pubs, and the CCT between 3300 ~ 5300 is suited for offices, classrooms, reading rooms, supermarkets, consulting rooms, laboratories, operating rooms, etc. Then CCT larger than 5300k is suited for hot working shops, and places with high illumination. Generally, most offices applied 4000k CCT lighting during their work.
