House decoration includes not only construction projects but also furniture, soft decoration, lighting, etc. The decoration is a complicated project in many aspects. Energy-saving lamps and LED lamps are frequently used lamps during decoration. However, with the development of the times, the frequency of using energy-saving lamps has gradually decreased, and on the contrary, the use of led lamps has increased. Will LED lights replace energy-saving lamps in the future? Let us first understand the advantages and disadvantages of the two types of lights.
Advantages Of The Energy-Saving Lamps:
- Energy saving and power saving, low power and high light efficiency. Compared with ordinary bulbs, the luminous efficiency of compact fluorescent lamps is increased by about 5-6 times. For example, the luminous flux of 11W energy-saving lamps is equivalent to 60W ordinary incandescent lamps.
- Long life. The rated life of ordinary incandescent bulbs is 1000 hours, and the life of compact fluorescent lamps is generally 5000 hours.
- Good color rendering. The color display index of incandescent lamps and daytime solar energy is 100.
Disadvantage Of The Energy-Saving Lamps:
- 1. Energy-saving lamps start slowly.
- 2. Energy-saving lamps have a bright line spectrum, so the usual energy-saving lamps are purple, and the things under the energy-saving lamps will be seriously discolored. Blue will change to purple, red, and yellow, making it more vivid. Therefore, energy-saving lamps should not be used for color-matching work.
- 3. After long-term investigation and research, scientists have reached a preliminary conclusion: the radiation of energy-saving lamps may harm human health and even cause cancer.
LED lights use light-emitting diodes, which are solid-state semiconductor devices that can convert electrical energy into visible light. It can directly convert electricity into light. Compared with energy-saving lamps, the power of LED lamps is only about 1/3 of that of ordinary energy-saving lamps under the same brightness, and the lifespan is equivalent to about 5 times that of ordinary lamps. LEDs produce less pollution than others and are more environmentally friendly. Although LED lights are relatively expensive, their high-end, durable, beautiful, ultra-power-efficient, and environmentally friendly have become people's enthusiasm for the future.
